From Doctrine to Evangelism

After completing the series on Calvinism, the guys have a short conversation concerning missions. One of the common misconceptions about Calvinist is that there is no need for missions. Talking through that today, they share their convictions about mission and what each of their local churches are actively doing in light of the gospel.

Word Vs Deed

Word Vs Deed

In our culture today we often see evangelism carried out in two primary ways: sharing the gospel with our words, while our actions demonstrate a different belief system or letting our actions ‘speak for themselves’ and thus insufficiently share the complete work of Christ with our mouths. However, the bible holds the tension that both our actions and our words are each an essential and important part of our witness as we seek to share Christ with the world.

What is the Church?

What is the Church?

We often complicate what it means to live the Christian life. What if we understood that God is calling us to be a people who understand that everywhere we go the presence of God is with us and He is working through us in many different ways?

Do you realize that you are part of an unstoppable force? (Matthew 16) We the church are moving forward. We the church are taking ground. We the church are moving out into the community. And there should be great joy in that.

How do we pray for ourselves and for the church?

Pray that we are willing to engage with others about the gospel. Pray that we would be filled with joy concerning the church. Pray that we would be filled with humility and grace.

Bobby Gaither and Nick Jackson interview and engage with Chris Gorman, a pastor to the pastors, about the church and what he sees God doing in the church today.
