Join Bobby and Nick as they sit down and debut their very first podcast! This has been a dream for months now and is finally becoming a reality. Their desire is to continue to come alongside the church on a regular basis and discuss how the gospel affects our lives, our interactions with culture and help bring the gospel to the forefront of our lives. The aim is to behold the glory of God and be satisfied in who God is.
Why the name “Satisfied”? Many things in this world vie for our attention, but ultimately what the world has to offer is incomplete. The source of lasting satisfaction and joy is only found in Christ Jesus. God is all that satisfies. We, ourselves, are thirsty people who have found the only water that can satisfy our soul.
O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
2 So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
beholding your power and glory.
3 Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
4 So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands.
5 My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food,
and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,
6 when I remember you upon my bed,
and meditate on you in the watches of the night;
7 for you have been my help,
